The South is filled with long histories of resilience and resistance. We understand it is crucial to resist blatant fascism while simultaneously cultivating the world we wish to see blossom in its ashes. Our mission for the Florida Abolitionist Gathering (FAG) is to offer a space to connect, share, and learn from each other’s stories and strategies. Through this gathering we hope to generate new possibilities for what can, and must, be done to advance the goals of abolition and destroy what stands in our way. Join us in so-called Gainesville, Florida on February 28-March 2, 2025 to build bonds, learn skills, share stories, grieve and love together, embody resistance, and collectively dream of liberation with others.
